The TRIXIE Cooling Mat is just the thing to give your four-legged friend a cool break on hot days. With this cooling mat, you can easily protect your dog from overheating—without needing electricity or other cooling aids.

The mat’s cooling effect is triggered by body contact, causing the gel filling to cool down to about 2°C below body temperature. This temperature difference alone has a noticeable effect on your dog. The cooling effect lasts for several hours before the mat needs to be removed for a short break. The gel regenerates and can then produce a pleasant coolness again. The cooling mat can serve as a standalone resting spot or be used in combination with dog beds and blankets, making it the ideal companion on hot days—both at home and on tour. Depending on your dog’s size or needs, the mat is available in various sizes (S–XXL).

Be sure not to use or store the product in direct sunlight or at temperatures above 45°C. If the product becomes dirty or damp, it can be easily wiped clean thanks to its easy-care material.

Tip: Do not use in the sun. Do not use or store at temperatures over 45 °C. The gel contained might get too hot and turn liquid, and as a result lose its cooling effect.     

Moisture can form on the cooling mat due to temperature fluctuations. Therefore, we recommend that the mat is not folded or stored in the original carton, but spread out and dried with a cloth if necessary.

The shelf life depends on the storage and treatment of the product.
